Heavy(large) aircraft parking

Post by Greg Goodavish » Wed Jul 01, 2020 8:09 pm

I flew a B772 into KMSP. No matter where I parked, GSX said the parking spot was too small for my aircraft. They are either classified as small or medium, and I guess the B772 is a large aircraft. Can this be fixed, so some of the gates would accomodate a large aircraft, of am I doing something wrong?

There are Large gates located at the G Ramp area.

Additionally if you want a specific gate to be a Heavy gate that is not traditionally one you can simply go into GSX within the sim and use the option Modify this parking spot. Under that option you can change the Max Wingspan for the gate to 66 or 72 and rename the gate as a Heavy one which will then allow you to park anywhere on the airport you wish.
