You say this.

Mir has said that he's aiming to produce airports that aren't very big like MSP or DEN.
But Mir might have changed his mind since Sammy has recently said this.

Flightbeam will be shifting more towards the major International Airports in the future.
Few of those U.S airports I would class as major international. You are right that some of the airports that have been suggested have already been developed but some are very outdated and could do with a new version. Very few people can match Flightbeam's quality, especially when they get better with each release.

While I toyed with smaller sized airports, I found these to not provide much return on investment unfortunately. The focus for me is shifting back to major international airports. The size of the airport is not relevant though. Example, MSP is absolutely massive, 4 runways. But NZAA is much much smaller, with one runway. Guess which one falls into the mega-airport category?

On the other hand, I'm not the only developer here now and there are several on the team that are very effective at making great selling mid to small size airports. So keep any suggestions coming.

As I said before, keep all suggestions coming. While I spoke on what Mir's intentions would be he very well cleared the air that there are multiple developers who are contributing so fire away.

I'd like to second and add a few suggestions:

Australia
- Canberra (YSCB) Joint Military/Civil Field. Significant changes to the airport since Orbx version with military (including VIP), regional, domestic and growing international traffic;
- Brisbane (YBBN) Again major international gateway. Significant changes currently being made (including a new parallel runway), will make Orbx's outdated. Similar to Auckland, probably best left until majority of the work is complete (although publication of plans is fairly publically available)

Pacific
- Nadi (NFFN) Significant pacific gateway with an option for both long haul and short haul
- Honolulu (PHNL) As others have stated, would fit in nicely with Orbx's planned Honolulu cityscene and provides options for inter-island, domestic, international and military.

North America
- St John's Newfoundland, Canada (CYYT) North Atlantic gateway and a crucial airport for North Atlantic crossing emergencies

Europe
- Rome Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (LIRF)

Asia
- Hong Kong (VHHH) Major international gateway. T2G's is nice, but missing a significant number of changes at the airport.
- Tokyo Haneda (RJTT) or Narita (RJAA)
- Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) Thai Airways Home hub

Cheers,
Haydn

Can you guys do a good New Delhi Airport, India is a huge country - and I want to explore it. With openLC Asia (whenever it is released by Orbx) - airports in the region will up on my list.

IATA: DEL, ICAO: VIDP

And Flightbeam version of KDCA.

2.Keflavík International Airport at iceland

Hey all.

Since we are all putting in 2 cents I will do it. I like the idea of KSLC with the departure and approach with mountains all around. Also KDTW with departure and approach with the big Lake St Clair and the great lakes of Erie and Huron nearby. The same could be said of Cleveland with Lake Erie right there on the departure and approach.

Some excellent suggestions have been made. Here are the ones I would be most interested in:

Keflavik (BIKF)
Tokyo - Haneda (RJTT)
Lima - Jorge Chavez Intl (SPIM)
La Paz - El Alto Intl (SLLP)
Jeff Williams (KDCA)

Hello

I would love to see these airports by FB.

1. KDTW - With a departure and approach near the great lakes and it is of some size.
2. KCLE - With a departure and approach near the great lakes.
3. KSLC - With a departure and approach with the mountains all around.
4. KMCO - With a departure and approach of the nearby Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico as well as night views of Disney World scenery textures.
5. KMCI - There are no good ones out there and it seems that it would be somewhat easy for somebody as good as Mir / FB.
6. KPHL - could be a nice airport to round out an even better collection of good airports on the east coast now that we seem to have all the major airports on the west coast by a number of companies that do at the very least a decent job.
7. If Calgary or Edmonton in Canada were done there would be good versions of all the main international airports in Canada.

Anyway, that is my $.02 or my $.07, depending on how u look at it. Thanks for the good work. :D

Well, I would love anything new. I just need to buy a couple more and DO EXPECT more to come. I fly the world, but there are many great airports in USA which would be fine for me.

The "troubleshooter" app is so great that I have no words to express my love for this app.

I buy a ton of the Aerosoft Pro airports. No need to duplicate. Thank you all.

Hello FB Team,

This thread has been running since march.

When (approximately) do you think you will be in position to make a decision and communicate please?

When we make a decision on the airport that will be after NZAA. Obviously NZAA still needs to be complete and as such there is some time before our next Mega-Airport will be started.

When that time gets closer and we have a solid decision we will announce something.

Thank you.

I think either a new Gatwick (UK2000 is now woefully outdated, both with texturing and lack of SODE support) or a completely unique and very sought after airport of Mumbai (VABB). This has not been done before, with THAI CREATION's version just being unusable and therefore I do not count it as a scenery.

KGEG seems to be cursed for FS. I can't count how many have been started and then vaporized. Orbx was the latest. Now a nice one finally appears and guess what....XP11! Would you guys consider it for P3D4? It would make a great central location for flights to KDEN and KSFO.

I fly the 738 always. Love the plane and own all Flight Beams US airports. I fly for a VA and keep the flights around 3 hours. I get that profits drive the industry and I want the FS developers to get rich. Makes my hobby much more enjoyable and keeps the new stuff coming. I am not an around the world international airport customer so I fear that I might have bought my last FB airport. Hope not anyway. The next time you build a big international throw in KABQ cause the default just sucks.

Appreciate the opportunity to offer suggestions and Im sure majority of us will purchase whatever airport is chosen no matter the location.... For me cant wait for NZAA since Im from this part of the world (well across the ditch) so it'll only be natural for my suggestions to be from the southern hemisphere!!

NFFN - Nadi Fiji, probably the largest and busiest airport of the south pacific islands, would just complement the region being the tie in with your Auckland and wellington airports (along with others)
NWWW - Noumea - New Caledonia, same reason as above in regards to the NZ tie in..
YSCB - Canberra, Capital of Australia, with a brand new terminal and a couple of 777 flights, it would be welcome addition since another developer has decided to not pursue any updates/redesign (not everything Australian needs to be left to ORBX, Flytampa proved that ;) )

Hey there,
I don't know it's late to read here, but I would like to see Tokyo Narita Intl. Aiprort (RJAA)
I have always wondered a lot that there are not as many Asian, Middle Eastern and Africa airports being made ???
I have 90% of the time seen Airports From USA, Europe and a little bit from Austaralia and New Zealand.

Would LOVE to see a FB KEWR! I know it has not always been viable in previous sims due to the terrible performance of the surrounding area. However, with MSFS2020 coming out, I can imagine development of KEWR would be feasible again in terms of performance. You could also model the shipping port right next door! Would be amazing!

My other suggestion is KMKE as I grew up there :D

So when do we find out what these two(!) new ???? airports on the homepage are?

You've already guaranteed LFBO and NZAA purchases from me. I've a feeling these two surprises are likely to have me opening my wallet yet again... :D

I'd also like to request KPVD. It was, correct me if i'm wrong, the first airport built to 'todays' standards way back in FS9. I don't recall any scenery prior to KPVD and KPDX (same developer) that placed carts, tugs, etc on the ramp. It is badly in need of an updating. If money is an issue, I'll pay $$$. Just to make it happen. Just don't forget to add the nearby "JAY" building, and a static Patriots 767 on the Tango runup pad.

We need smaller outstations to fly to/from the megahubs as well! Please don't forget that! Regardless, you guys make amazing scenery, and eventually I'll own it all anyway, haha.

Thanks for allowing us to make suggestions.

I would like to suggest EDDM - Munich.
The latest rendition of EDDM, done by Taxi2Gate, dates back to Dec. 2015. An update for P3D4 has been released in Sep. 2017. Nothing happpened ever since. The T2G-Website seems dead for a long time, the latest post on FB appears to have been published Dec. 2018. So I guess there won't be happening anything in the future.

EDDM is the 2nd biggest airport in Germany, number 9 in Europe and ranking 38th biggest in the world. 101 carriers are landing in Munich, connecting 254 destinations worldwide in 75 countries.

The airport is currently expanding Terminal 1, targeting for a 2023 opening.
https://www.munich-airport.com/deconstr ... on-7273984

Plans to expand the satellite-terminal of T2 are underway. Nice options for upgrades in the future. I don't know if any other developer is considering EDDM. I am pretty sure there would be more than sufficient demand for a new rendition and it would fit nicely into Flightbeams product portfolio.

Greetings from Munich :D

I would like to request some smaller Dutch airports:
- EHEH Eindhoven; base for low-cost airlines Transavia, Ryanair and WizzAir, also a military airbase
- EHLE Lelystad; currently expanded to take over flights from EHAM, Aviodome theme park next to the airport
- EHBK Maastricht; small airport with some large freighters visiting the airport and holiday charters

I know this will not happen in this new environment but, an airport missing is KABQ for P3D. This airport is sourly missed and is so jacked up because of ORBX. I know X Plane has a very nice one but, they never make their airports available to P3D users. I am not sure why I thought it would make good business sense it light of what might be coming from Microsoft.

If you make it I will buy it.

I only have one suggestion:

Johannesburg SA.

It maes no sense to duplicate an airport which in a lot of cases in this forum have been asked for and already on offer by a different devleloper. FAOR is currently done by Gaffer by nowhere near a good quality. and it would cover a nice spread to fly from to WSSS YPPH YSSY and any South American Airports. In view of the release ORBX Africa this would be awsome.

Think part of it is that whilst some on the list have been done my other developers, either the quality wasn't necessarily the best, or construction to the airport has made it outdated. JFK has been done by two developers, but the issue with one of them is there are seams that show up where it looks like it was a separate tile that got thrown in, so that already detracts the quality of that one. The reconstruction of runway 4L/22R also made that one outdated since that runway is now made out of concrete. The reconstruction of runway 13L/31R made the other JFK scenery outdated. Other airports also had the issue where the quality of the scenery was great, but performance took a hit.

Thank you all for the continued suggestions. Elmar, definitely the first time I have seen a FAOR request, so thank you for adding something new to the mix.
Sammy, there have been 6 requests in this thread alone (counting Elmar's and the linked posts below) for FAOR, which shows that there is a lot of interest for it.

With Orbx's OLC Africa having released, P3D could do with a good version of it, as well as HECA, HAAB, DAAG, DNMM, all top-10 African airports (excluding the big two in the Canary Islands).

A Flightbeam version would, of course, be fantastic.

Thank you for posting the other versions which I had seen already. I was saying it in the sense of there had been five other request with about 15-20 request of any other airport that had been mentioned.

Trust me, if anyone reads these forums I do.

MY Turn!!
I won't list any airports that are already out and of acceptable quality, like JFK.

KABQ ( went to USAF Rescue school there and love that place. This will be the only smaller airport I will list)
KMCO (Gettin old and needs and update, but I'll check with Ricardo first and see if he has it in his sights)
FAOR
FACT
VTBS
OMDB (I know FT says they are gonna update, but I live in Dubai and it is WAY past due!)
OMAA
LFPG
HECA
SBGL
SBGR
SAEZ
VABB
YPAD (Kinda small, but I agree, a black hole in OZ)
SPIM

That is enough for now, I don't want to keep you from NZAA or I will have to add it to this list :-)

Thank you for your inputs, Scott.

I do agree there are quite a few Middle East airports that need some love as well as some of the Asia fields. Of course the main reason a lot of these fields have not been done yet is the crazy restrictions to get what's needed to make an accurate rendition of the airport. Some airports cooperate better than others. Good list though.

KGEG seems to be cursed for FS. I can't count how many have been started and then vaporized. Orbx was the latest. Now a nice one finally appears and guess what....XP11! Would you guys consider it for P3D4? It would make a great central location for flights to KDEN and KSFO.
Good news! VerticalSim (who made a decent KGEG for XP11), just announced on his Facebook page that he intends to bring over all of his sceneries to MSFS.
